Step 1: Prepare the Soil and Sow the Seeds
Choose loose, fertile, well-drained soil and prepare a pot or garden bed with enough depth for the roots to develop. Sow the seeds in the soil, cover them with a thin layer of soil, and water gently to keep the soil moist without making it waterlogged.
Step 2: Water and Care for the Plants
Place the plants in a suitable location with adequate sunlight. Water regularly to maintain soil moisture, but avoid overwatering. Remove weeds and ensure good drainage. Once the seedlings grow stronger, provide enough space for healthy root development.
Step 3: Harvest and Store the Roots
Land Ginseng may be ready to harvest after approximately 5–6 months, depending on the growing conditions. Carefully loosen the soil before lifting the roots to avoid damaging them. Remove excess soil and store the harvested roots in a cool, well-ventilated place under suitable conditions.
